Continuing Education and Independent Living Support for StudentsCollege is an exciting, challenging experience for most students, and it does not come with instructions. Many students become lost navigating the complicated paperwork, large responsibility, and the high expectations that college places on their shoulders. This can be especially true for students with learning or developmental disabilities, such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or mental health issues.
Accessible Academics was founded on the principle of facilitating independence for the students we work with. From the moment a student begins their journey with us, we make it our mission to provide them with the future they hope for. We seek to help students overcome the barriers they believe might lock the doors of progress. We bring in a coach to support the student in all areas of life, from cooking and cleaning to learning and reading. No area of a student’s life is overlooked. Our coaches are here to do just that, coach. And, like any good coach, when their work is done, students can build on the progress they’ve made, safe in the knowledge that they have a support network rooting for them to achieve every ambition they set out.
